About the Dab Rite Cup
In 2023, we held 11 competitions for our Dab Rite Cup Invitational Series. We invited 100 hash makers and pitted 10 against each other each month. After 10 events, we hosted the grand finale where the 10 previous winners competed to determine the ultimate winner. Solventless Refinery from Arizona won the Invitational Series, while Cannabis Chris from California won the People’s Choice Award.
The next series of the Dab Rite Cup will be the Regionals, which will take place in 12 regions across the United States. Over a weekend event, up to 20 hash makers from each region will compete. Every Sunday, we will host the Regional Finale to crown the winner of the region. After all 12 regions have concluded, the winners will compete in the Dab Rite Cup Regional Finale in June 2025 to determine the champion of the United States.
We plan to continue the Dab Rite Cup international in other countries over the next few years eventually leading up to the Dab Rite World Cup.
Why We Are Different
What makes this competition different from others is the judges are the hash makers, the competition is double blind, hash makers do not judge their own hash, and we require the hash maker to enter a cultivar from their stable of genetics. We provide every judge with the same dabbing set up. Every judge uses a Toro Mac Rig, Toro Grail Flat Top Banger, Zach Brown Directional Cap, Cobra Coil or Terp Sousvide for heating device, and a Dab Rite Pro. One thing that makes our competition great is we clean each rig after each judge finishes an entry, so that each entry they try is off a freshly cleaned rig. We have come up with this format to ensure nearly every variable is covered to ensure the competition is fair. We believe we are setting a standard in the industry of competitions.
